How to Make Awesome and Easy Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:
Unsalted butter: 3 tablespoons
Garlic cloves – finely minced: 2
Salt: To taste
Freshly ground black pepper
Dry white wine: ¼ cup
Raw shrimp with tails on – peeled and deveined: 1 pound
Italian parsley – for garnishing (optional): 2 teaspoons
Fresh Lemon wedges – for garnish (optional)
Pasta, crusty bread, or rice – for serving (optional)

Instructions

    Place 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in the center of a non-sticking frying pan or skillet and set over stove’s medium heat to melt completely.

    Once the butter oil is warm and foamy, add in 2 crushed garlic cloves.

    Dust the cloves with some salt and finely powdered black pepper.

    Now stir fry for 25 to 30 seconds or until light golden from the edges and fragrant.

    Decant ¼ cup of dry white wine into the garlic-butter mixture and continue stir frying for 2 to 3 minutes until you feel that the wine’s smell has completely cooked-off.

    Add in 1 pound of raw shrimp and carry on cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes or until pink, thick and lightly changed in colour.

    Remove the frying pan or skillet with gloved hands and set aside until you prepare the garnishing materials.

    Rinse some Italian parsley and coarsely chop with a knife.

    Place the warm Shrimp Scampi in a large serving platter and scatter the chopped parsley over the top.
