How to Make Bagel Pizzas

As the name suggests, bagel pizzas are made from bagel buns. The best thing about this recipe is that it is easy to make and you can make as few or as many bagel pizzas as you want. Just cut the bagel into half, add toppings of your choice, bake for few minutes and eat.

Bake time: 8 to 10 min
Total time: 11 to 20 min
Yield: 2 servings
Utensils: Oven, sharp knife, butter knife, spoon, baking tray, parchment paper or foil.

Ingredients:
Bagel(s)
Pizza sauce/spaghetti sauce/ tomato sauce
Sliced sharp cheddar cheese
Seasonings
Toppings (optional)
Parchment paper
Baking sheet
Cookie sheets

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Take a bagel and cut it in half using a sharp knife. You can also use frozen bagels, but make sure you defrost them before using.

    Spoon pizza sauce on both halves of the bagel and spread it evenly on the slices with the help of a butter knife.

    Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on both the slices. You can also use cheddar cheese or both of them at a time for a more delicious bagel pizza. The more cheese you add, the better your pizza will taste; however, it will also increase the amount of calories.

    Sprinkle seasonings of your choice (garlic powder, oregano, basil etc) on your pizzas.

    At this stage your pizza is ready to go into the oven and if you have any toppings, add them now.

    Line your baking tray with a foil or some parchment paper to make sure that melted cheese or tomato sauce, that finds its way down to the pan do not damage it.

    Arrange the bagel slices on the cookie tray in a single layer.

    Place the baking tray in the oven, preheated to 375 degrees, and bake the bagel slices for eight to ten minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

    Your bagel pizzas are ready, remove them and serve hot.
