How to Make Boiled Shrimp with a Shrimp Sauce

Meat has got a lot of benefits and it can be cooked in a lot of ways, but we often don’t consider shrimps as a main meal. It can be cooked in very little time and will definitely be loved by people of all age groups. In order to make the taste better, you can prepare shrimp sauce too, which also doesn’t require much time and effort.

Ingredients:

For Shrimp

– 1 lb fresh, wild shrimp
– 1/4 cup cider vinegar
– 1 pinch salt
– 3 to 4 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning, or to taste
– Ice-water
– 1 lemon, sliced in half, for garnish

For Shrimp Sauce

– 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
– 6 green onions peeled, with greens removed
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1/2 cup cheap white wine
– 1 tsp. lemon juice
– 1/2 bunch parsley Saucepan

    Fill a large pan with water

    Take a large pan and fill it with water. Place it on a stove and bring it to a boil.

    Add vinegar and salt to water

    Now, add some vinegar and salt to the water. You can keep the heat low, so that these things can settle in nicely.

    Add more seasonings

    As per your taste, mix more seasonings into water and continue heating it. In order to mix everything, you can use a large spoon to stir.

    Drop shrimp in water

    Once all the things have settled in with the water, drop shrimp into it. It is advisable to add fresh shrimp in the water, as it cooks better.

    Boil shrimp

    You will have to boil the shrimp until it starts floating on the water.

    Drain the shrimp and serve

    Once it is cooked properly, drain all the water from the shrimp. You can then serve it in a platter.

    Prepare the shrimp sauce

    While you wait for the shrimp to boil, you can prepare the sauce by heating butter in a pan, dropping onion, garlic and parsley into it.

    Add lemon juice

    Cook the onions for a couple of minutes and then add lemon juice to the pan.

    Add seasonings and serve

    You can now add other seasonings and serve the shrimp sauce to your guests.
