The chocolate éclair cake recipe is simply yummy, scrumptious and easy to make. This is a cake that is as entertaining as it is delicious. This recipe makes an elegant cake, moist and delicious with a wonderful chocolaty taste.
Ingredients
- Milk – ¼ cup
- Chocolate graham crackers – 1 package
- Unsweetened cocoa powder – ⅓ cup
- White sugar – 1 cup
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
- Milk – 3 cups
- Frozen whipped topping – 1 container
- Instant vanilla pudding mix – 2 packages
Instructions
- Take pudding mix and 3 cups of milk and blend them together in a large bowl.
- Whisk them thoroughly.
- Fold in whipped topping and beat it with mixer for around 2 minutes.
- Take a 9x13 inch baking dish and grease it by using butter.
- At the bottom of the dish, spread a layer of graham crackers.
- Use half of the pudding mixture and spread it over the crackers, prior to topping it with graham crackers.
- Repeat the layering process one more that; pour the remaining pudding mixture over the crackers and then top the second layer with crackers.
- The pudding-making process includes mixing of ¼ cup milk, cocoa and sugar and putting them into a medium saucepan.
- Place the saucepan on a medium-high heat, and allow the mixture to boil for not more than one minute.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Take butter and vanilla and add them to the mixture.
- Blend it well and let it cool.
- Pour the sauce over the upper layer of the graham crackers and put the cake into the refrigerator.
- When all set, the chocolate éclair cake is ready to serve.
