Want to enjoy homemade Cinnamon Rolls with evening tea/coffee? Do not want to go to market and buy those famous cinnamon rolls with high prices? If the answer for both the questions is yes, then here is good news. You can make delicious and mouth-watering cinnamon rolls at home by following some simple steps.
Ingredients
- Vegetable oil (oiling): 1 bowl
- Active dry yeast: 1 tbsp
- Water (warm 110 degrees): 5 cups
- All-purpose flour (unbleached, work surface): 11 ½ cups
- Dark brown sugar: ½ cup
- Salt: 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Take a large bowl and grease it by using vegetable oil; set aside.
- Take another large bowl and put 5 cups of water in it, prior to dissolving yeast in the water. Take 5 cups of flour and stir well to mix. Add salt and sugar and stir well.
- Now add the remaining flour, one cup at a time, and stir well each time until the dough becomes sticky. When it becomes hard to stir the dough, take it out of the bowl and place it on a floured surface.
- Knead the dough for around 8 to 10 minutes and add as much floor as needed to create elastic dough.
- When prepared, put the dough into the greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Wait for around 1 ½ to 2 hours until the dough becomes double in size.
- The dough is ready to use for making cinnamon rolls.
