How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Oatmeal With Cream

Ingredients:
Quick Oats or similar fast cooking oats: 3 cups
Milk: 1 1/2 cups
Water: 1 1/2 cups
Cream: 1 cup
Cinnamon: one dash
Sugar: one dash
Thinly sliced banana (for garnishing)
Quartered strawberries (for garnishing)

Take a medium sized saucepan and combine equal parts of whole milk and water in it.

Set the saucepan on the stove, on medium high heat, and heat until it is just about to boil.

Add quick oats to the boiling milk and water mixture, stirring continuously, and return to a near boil.

Now, reduce the heat and allow the oats to simmer for about 5 minutes, scraping the oats up and away from the bottom and sides of the pan frequently.

Once the oats are done, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in brown sugar and cinnamon powder.

Now, add one cup of heavy cream or half and half cream (whichever is easily available) and stir thoroughly until you get an even and creamy consistency.

Taste the mixture, adjust the brown sugar and cinnamon, and then divide the oatmeal mixture between three bowls.
