When you invite some guests at home, you definitely serve them some delicious meals for lunch or dinner. However, you should not forget that the most important thing is the sweet dish, which is loved by people of all age groups.
Ingredients
- White sugar: 1 cup
- All-purpose flour: 1⅛ cups
- Unsweetened cocoa powder: ½ cup
- Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Butter: ½ cup
- Egg: 1
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Cold, strong, brewed coffee: 1 cup
- Milk (whole or 2%): ½ cup
Instructions
- You will have to preheat the oven at 350 degrees Celsius. This is quite an important thing to do, whenever you are about to bake something.
- Take a large pan and coat it with butter or oil. Make sure that the entire base is covered. However, you don’t need to heat the pan at all, so keep it away from the stove.
- Now, take some flour and sprinkle it on the butter coated pan. This is to ensure that the cake doesn’t stick to the base of the pan. If you have a non-stick pan, then you don’t need to follow this step at all.
- In a small bowl, mix together some flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa and make sure they settle in nicely.
- Now, add some cream, butter, vanilla and egg into another bowl. Mix them together with sugar make sure then blend in nicely.
- Combine the two mixtures you have formed. Now, add some coffee and milk to get a fluffy look. You can place it in the pan, which was coated with butter earlier.
- Finally, bake the mixture in the oven for 35 minutes and your delicious cake will be ready to be served.
