Buy a pack of poker chips

A simple set of poker chips from any hobby shop or department store will do. You need to ensure that they all have flat 1-inch round centers, this should not be an issue as this is the standard size for poker chips. It is best to customize a set of clay poker chips (as stickers can be reapplied, or removed with relative ease and without spoiling the original chips), however plastic chips can also be customized this way.

    Buy sticker labels

Go to any stationary or office supply store and buy a pack of one inch diameter round sticker labels. These are cheap and available easily. Most sticker labels will come with a CD that holds templates for easy printing. It is advisable to look at templates available as they will make the task ahead much easier for you.

Use templates given with label CD

Using the CD, import your design on to a suitable template that will make it easy for printing. Follow the directions in the template, and make sure you print preview to see the resolution of the customization, and check that no design is falling outside of the margin.

    Create customization

In case you don't want to use tempelates, use  your preferred computer software (for example, Photoshop) to design the chip. Ensure that they are exactly in one-inch diameter circles, and use high resolution pictures.

If you need any assistance in how to use the software, there are several free online tutorials and templates available with a quick google search.

    Print and apply

Print your labels. Make sure that your printer has the capability to print on sticker labels (most high quality ink-jet or laser printers do).

Ensure that you have fed the sticker labels in the right direction into the printer, and give the print command. Once printed, ensure the ink has dried, and affix each of your customized stickers on to your poker chips!
