Place the crepe pan on the stove and let it become hot. Coat the base with vegetable oil. Now tilt the cup of batter or use a large spoon to pour in ½ cup of it into the pan. Shake the pan to spread the batter to the edges so that it is a complete circle shape. Cook till you see bubbles forming under the crepe and the top starts to lift. Flip over and cook the other side. Remove the prepared crepe into a waiting platter. Make the rest of the crepes in the same way. The crepe should be golden on both sides.
