Deluxe rice krispie bar is one of the most favourite snacks of kids and adults alike. They are very easy to make, but take a little more time as compared to other snacks.
Ingredients
  • Kellogg’s rice krispies
  • Mini marshmallows: 3 packages
  • Butter (melted)
  • Caramel candies: 14 ounces
  • Condensed milk (sweetened): 1 can
  • Chocolate chips (baking chocolate chips or semi-sweet): ½ cup
  • Raisins (optional)
Instructions
  1. First of all, you have to make the krispie bars. Take a frying pan and put butter in it. Keep it at medium heat flame on the stove and let the butter melt. Add marshmallows into the butter and then six cups of Kellogg’s rice krispies. It is to be noted that the butter will melt very quickly, so keep an eye on it before it dries out.
  2. You have to mix all the ingredients well before adding more marshmallows and rice krispies. After adding all of them, cover the pan.
  3. Now, you have to make caramel mixture. Take another pan and keep it on medium heat. Add butter into it. When the butter melts, add condensed milk, sugar and chocolate chips (you can also use sweet chips).
  4. Stir all the ingredients well with each other and then pour this mixture on the marshmallows and rice krispies. You can also add different kinds of nuts (after crushing) into the krispies before adding the caramel mixture.
  5. You have to make another mixture of rice krispies and marshmallows which you will pour on the caramel mixture. In this way, you will have three layers (two layers of krispies and one layer of caramel mixture).
  6. After adding the rice krispie mixture on caramel mixture, you have to press it very lightly so that all the three layers are compressed together. But, don’t push it too hard. Then, keep them aside for around three to four hours until they become hard. Take a knife and cut the layers of rice krispies and caramel into bars.
  7. You can use melted chocolate as topping before serving the deluxe rice krispie bars.
