How to Make Fake Gunshot Wounds

Have you ever wondered how movie stars get fake wound marks on their skin?

It may sound surprising, but you can make fake gunshot wounds on any part of your body effortlessly. However, you would have to spend some time for the wound looks natural. After all, you will only be able to complete the ‘shot and lived’ drama if the wound you make resembles a real gunshot wound.

Things Required:

– Black and red makeup
– Tissue papers
– Glue
– Paint

Instructions

  • 1

Determine on which part of your body you want to make fake gunshot wounds. You can make fake wounds on your arms, legs, forehead or any other body part. Cover the desired patch of skin in black and dark red makeup.

  • 2

Get a clean tissue paper and rip it just a little. Make sure you do not tear the tissue paper to shreds.

  • 3

If you have ever seen a gunshot wound, you would know that areas immediately surrounding the wound turn dark, primarily because of gun powder and bruising due to nerve breakage. To simulate this affect, soak the torn tissue paper from the previous step in washable black paint.

  • 4

Glue the in washable black paint soaked tissue paper from the previous step around the desired body part. Be sure to use enough glue to prevent the tissue paper from coming off. Allow time for the glue to harden just a little bit.

  • 5

Tear the glue on tissue paper at three to four different spots. This will simulate torn skin due to a gunshot.

  • 6

Apply black paint on and around the glued tissue paper.
