How to Make Frozen Margaritas

Delicious to the mouth and refreshing to the throat, this frozen margaritas will cool your hot summer down. It is a very easy and best recipe to consider when you want to enjoy a margarita cocktail in a unique and different way. This beverage is made with freshly extracted lime juice, sugar, tequila and some ice blended into an icy mass, and served up in a salt or sugar-rimmed glass.

Prickly Pear Margarita, Frozen Strawberry Margarita and Passion Fruit Margarita are one among the most famous versions of Frozen Margaritas.

Utensils: plate, glass, blender or cocktail shaker

Ingredients:
Ice cubes: 5 cups
Tequila: ¾ cup
Fresh lime juice: 2/3 cup (from 5 to 6 limes)
Simple Syrup: ½ cup
Coarse salt (for the rims): 1/3 cup
Lime wedge (for rimming): 2 to 3
Some lime wedges (cut in half) for serving

Instructions

    Rim the Glass and Refrigerate

    Place 1/3 cup of coarse salt on a plate and spread it. Pick some lime wedges and rub them all around the rim of the cocktail glasses. Now hold the glasses from bottom and dip their rims in the salt to coat well. Place the glasses in refrigerator until chilled.

    Puree ice

    Place 5 cups of ice cubes in the jug of your electric blender and blend them until crushed well.

    Add in remaining Ingredients

    Pour ¾ cup of Tequila and 2/3 cup of fresh lime juice into the jug.

    Blend Again

    Seal the electric blender thoroughly and blend the liquor-ice mixture at medium speed until it forms a puree ice.

    Pour into Glasses

    Your Frozen Margaritas is ready; unseal the blender and divide it equally among the four rimmed glasses.

    Serve these Frozen Margaritas with some fresh lime wedges and enjoy.
