Fruit cobbler is one of the most delicious treats. It is mostly served during the breakfast. However, you can also serve it during lunch and dinner. It is a very tasty mix of fruits like raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 1 cup
- White sugar: 1 cup
- Stick butter: 1
- Dash of salt
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Egg: 1
- Milk: ¾ cup
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- First, you have to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, take a baking dish and place some butter on it. Now, put the dish in the oven to melt the butter.
- Take a bowl and add flour, egg, vanilla, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk and egg in it. Mix all the ingredients well with the help of a fork. Don’t use a beater, a fork will be fine. Blend until the ingredients turn into a soft batter.
- Then, take the butter out of oven and put the mixture into the dish. Don’t mix the ingredients now. Now, add all the fruits into the mixture and don’t stir. You may see an unnecessary amount of butter at the corners of the dish. But, don’t worry, it will be absorbed and cooked by itself.
- Place the dish containing the mixture in the oven for about an hour. Keep an eye on the batter and take it out when it turns brown.
- After taking the cobbler out, place it aside and let it cool down a little bit.
- Serve it with some juice or ice-cream and enjoy.
