Whether you are out for a picnic with your family or relaxing at home, fudge is a great treat to have. It is tasty and you don’t need to be an expert to prepare it. Moreover, you can combine various other ingredients with it in order to make the taste even better.
Ingredients
  • Oreo-type chocolate sandwich cookies, divided - 16
  • Granulated sugar - 3 cups
  • Butter - 1 stick
  • Evaporated milk - 1 cup
  • White chocolate chips - 2 cups
  • 7-ounce jar marshmallow cream - 1
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Cover a 9x9 pan with aluminium foil and spray it with a non-stick spray.
  2. Some people prefer using a non-stick pan in this case, which is also fine, but it is ideal to cover the pan with the foil.
  3. Take six cookies and crumble them in a small bowl. You can also chop them into smaller pieces, if you like. Once you have done that, place the bowl aside.
  4. Take a medium sized saucepan and mix sugar, butter and evaporated milk in it.
  5. Afterwards, bring the mixture to a boil and continue stirring with a spoon.
  6. You can first boil the milk and then add the remaining ingredients.
  7. In any case, it is important to boil the mixture for another three minutes while stirring it constantly.
  8. Once the boiled mixture starts getting thicker, remove the pan from the heat and add more ingredients like white chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, vanilla, and crushed cookie crumbs.
  9. Continue stirring until the fudge is smooth.
  10. The cookies you had chopped earlier need to be added to the mixture.
  11. You can also add some more butter at this stage, but remember not to stir anymore.
  12. Finally, place the fudge inside the refrigerator and let it chill for a couple of hours before you can eat it.
