How to Make Garlic Garden Spray

Seeing various insects and fungal diseases overtaking your dearly loved garden is no doubt a very freezing up experience. There are large variety of insecticides and pesticides available in the market for detecting and controlling the attack of these insects and diseases from the crops and plants. However, these commercial pesticides and insecticides are not only expensive but also contain toxic chemicals, which can have an adverse effect on the environment and human population. Therefore, think out of the box and consider some homemade remedies like the Garlic Garden Spray that is cost-effective and magnificent in controlling the attack of fungal diseases and insects on the plants of your garden.

The Garlic Garden Spray works really well on the plagues of white flies, aphids, mealy bugs, slugs and cabbage loppers etc. It is super easy to make and all of its ingredients are within your reach.

Preparation time: 10 to 15 minutes
Storage time: one week
Utensils needed: container, sharp knife, mixing bowl

Ingredients:

– 120 g (about 4.2 oz) fresh garlic
– 2 tablespoons mineral oil – paraffin oil is preferred
– 20 g (about 0.7 oz) natural soap powder
– ½ liter (16 fl. Oz) clean water

Instructions

    Take about 120g of garlic cloves and peel them properly.

    Chop the peeled garlic cloves into fine pieces, using a sharp knife.

    Place the chopped garlic in a plastic or disposable bowl. Top the garlic with 2 tablespoons of mineral oil, 20g of natural soap powder, and ½ liter of clean mild water.

    Stir the ingredients until all of them mix up properly and form a foamy solution.

    Pour the mixture into an open container like large bowl, and Mason jar and bucket etc.

    Seal and leave this mixture for two days until the garlic infuse through the spray mixture thoroughly.

    Note: Make sure to place the container out of the reach of your children and pets.

    Strain the garlic mixture after two days, using a large sieve.

    Gently pour the strained Garlic Garden Spray into a spray bottle and seal it well.
