Butternut squash
In order to make a glitternut squash, you have to make butternut squash first, which is pure and simple. When you roast a butternut squash, it takes a velvety texture. It compliments quite nicely to a number of vegetables, fruits and meats.
Choosing the right butternut squash is one of the most important steps. You need to make sure that it is not cracked or bruised and is very firm. It is recommended that you choose a deep orange coloured butternut squash because it will be more sweet and tasty if the colour is deeper.
Wash the butternut squash with cold water and use a brush to scrub the skin and get rid of the dirt. -
2
Cook the squash
Before you cook the butternut squash, you need to cut it into two halves and take out the seeds through a spoon. Brush a baking sheet with olive oil and put the butternut squash on it. Do not forget to check the squash after 30 minutes to ensure if it is getting softer. You can bake it further to soften it. Once it is cooked, take the squash out of the oven and allow it to cool down. -

Wrap with a glitter sheet
Place the squash on one of the papers and brush it with PVA adhesive, which can be diluted with water, if you wish to. Start pouring glitter over the squash and do not leave any empty space. Now wrap another sheet over the squash and put more glitter on it. Your glitternut squash is now ready to be served. Place it in a nice tray and present it to your guests with a drink. You can also have it alongside dinner or lunch but it is preferred with tea in the evening.
