Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Now take bread and use a bread knife to cut it into small pieces. You can also make large cubes, as the size of the cubes will not matter in this recipe. You just have to decide what shape and size you want to give to your croutons.

Now take baking sheet and drizzle a small amount of olive oil over it. Using your hands, take all the bread pieces and coat them well with olive oil. Place all the bread pieces into the oven and bake for around 15 minutes. Shake the pan so all the croutons have a chance to get brown on all sides and then place them back in the oven for about 5 more minutes or until they become hard and tan.

While still hot, sprinkle the croutons with a little more olive oil. Now sprinkle some salt and pepper, or any other seasoning you want. There are different options available to you when it comes to seasoning, such as garlic salt, parsley, rosemary, thyme, onion powder, and garlic pepper. So, you can try a bunch of different flavours and see what suits you (or your dish) best.
