Carrots are known to be rich source of Vitamin A or beta carotene which can help you to gain good eye health. Carrots are used in plenty of modern day foods. One of them is known as Carrot pudding. This is rich in taste and appealing dessert loaded with nuts, fruits and cream. This dish tastes delicious when eaten as hot. It is cooked with several methods. This guide will show you how you can make Indian style carrot pudding also known as "Gajar Ka Halwa."
Ingredients
  • Eggs – 2
  • White bread crumbs – 1 cup
  • Nutmeg powder – Nip
  • Icing sugar – 1 cup
  • Fresh cream – ½ cup
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Carrot paste – 1 cup
  • Flour – ½ cup
  • Raisins – 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Cashew nuts - 6
Instructions
  1. Take a bowl mix the eggs with milk and beat them together until bubbles start appearing in the mixture.
  2. Take another bowl and add carrot paste in it then add all of the dried ingredients in it and mix them well.
  3. Now transfer the above mixture in the beat made of milk and eggs during the first step.
  4. Mix them together and then place the mixture on very low heat and cook it with steam until the mixture is dried and is all set.
  5. Now garnish it with nuts and cream and then serve.
