Steps to Make Indonesian Fried Rice

Indonesia is collectively composed of 6000 small and large islands and every region has its own type of cuisine. This makes Indonesian cuisine very diverse and it is influenced by all of the world cuisines. The ingredients used in Indonesian foods are influenced mostly by Chinese, Indian and Middle Eastern regions. Nasi goring, commonly known as fried rice in English language is considered to be national dish of Indonesia. Following is the step by step recipe to cook Indonesian fried rice which is a mixture of rice, sea food, beef and chicken.

Ingredients:
rice: 300 grams
Eggs: 2
undercut Beef: 200 grams
prawns: 150 grams
chicken breast: 1
red chillies: 3
garlic: 2 cloves
finely chopped onion: 1
soya sauce: 2 tablespoons
tomato ketchup: 4 tablespoons
Salt to taste
black pepper powder: 1/2 teaspoon
celery sticks: 2
finely chopped coriander: 2 tablespoons

Instructions

    Take a deep pan, add some water in it and boil the rice in that water. When water is half boiled, drain the water using colander and then re shift them to the pan, cover the pan to simmer the rice.

    Take a small bowl and beat the eggs to make omelette. Make omelette and then make fine slices of beef, prawns and chicken. Also chop the red chillies.

    Now take a frying pan and add oil in it, fry the garlic and onions in it, until you see that onions are tendered.

    Now in the same oil, add beef and cook it until it changes its colour. Now add prawns and chicken in the beef and cook until they get golden texture.

    Now add red chillies in the mixture of all meats and cook for 2 minutes then add celery, further fry all of them for approx. 2 more minutes.

    Now add boiled rice in meat along with soya sauce, black pepper, salt and tomato ketchup. Cook them for a little time on high flame. Once you feel a nice fragrance, your Indonesian fried rice is ready to serve.
