How to Make Lace Crowns
Many of us love to do things on our own but are not sure about how they are done and thus have to spend a substantial amount of money in order to buy them. This is particularly true when there are decorative items that may be used at home or with clothing.
For example, if you are looking for a crown for an event or someone needs one for a school dance, you will probably have to spend a fair amount of money. You also have the option of making one from a lace that is commonly used on ladies clothing.

1
Roll It
In order to make a lace crown, you need a piece of cardboard that you can make a tube of 17” circumference. Hold it together with some tape and put shrink wrap on top. Now wrap the lace around the cardboard and pin it where the lace overlaps. -
2
Paint it
Use a spray paint bottle that is easily available in the market. Generally gold or silver is used but in case you want to use some other colour, you can do that as well. Give it a coat and wait for it to dry. Once it dries up, give it another coat of the paint. Once the front has been done, remove it and pin it the same way now from the back side which was earlier not exposed and repeat the exercise. Before going to the next step, make sure that the paint has properly dried. -
3
Glue It
Once the procedure has been completed, unpin the lace which will now be quite rigid. Trim the ends in case they are not even and decide which side you will want to be in the front. Once you decide this, glue the loose ends with strong glue. Let it dry properly and afterwards the lace should take the form of a crown. -
4
Add Jewellery
You can add a jewel or a stone on top of the crown. You can use the same glue to put it in place. Once the jewel is in place, the crown is ready to wear.
