How to Make Layered Felt Flowers

Things Required
– Felt Fabric
– Scissor
– Thread

Select felt fabrics of your choice and trace out various shapes, using sharp scissors. We have cut round shapes in the guide as you can see in the image on the right hand side. The number of the felt shapes will depend on the number of layers you want.

Once you cut the shapes, fold them in half in order to give them a petal shape. Check out the image for more clear idea of this step.

Fold the same circle in half one more time and use a threaded needle to sew and secure the tip area of the folded felt fabric, as shown in the image. Go through all layers of felt in order to secure the petals thoroughly.

Keep on sewing through the other petals by folding them in half over again and securing them with a thread.

Swivel the petals of the layered felt flower, causing the folded “edges” of the petals to be facing out.
