How to Make Lemonade
Lemonade might just be the most ridiculously tasty and refreshing beverages to grace our Earth. This summertime staple is an extremely simple to make and well worth the effort that is required. Nowadays, many bottled, canned and frozen alternatives are readily available. As incredible as that is however, you will be hard pressed to beat good old fashioned homemade lemonade.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
White sugar: 1 cup
Water: 1 cup
Lemon juice: 1 cup or 4-6 lemons
Cold water to dilute: 3-4 cups

Make Simple Syrup
In your sauce pan, heat the 1 cup of water along with the sugar. Stir the two together well and bring to a boil until the sugar clarifies and blends well. -

Juice Lemons
While you wait for your simple syrup to cool, squeeze the juice from 4-6 lemons in order to get 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. -

Pitcher Time
Add the lemon juice along with the simple syrup into the pitcher. Add the 3-4 additional cups of cold water to dilute the sugar and lemon juice. Stir the entire mixture well until evenly mixed. -

Fridge Time
Place the pitcher in the fridge for 30-45 minutes. Once cold, release from the fridge for consumption. -

Pour on Ice and Enjoy
Fill tall glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over said ice. This pitcher should fill 6 glasses easily.
