Melted crayon art sees the artist melt crayons, as they drip down the page, to create intricate patterns shapes and designs which look rather amazing, despite this being seemingly simple to do.
Nonetheless, you can’t mess around when using melted crayons, since the slightest mess up could result in you burning your skin.

Get appropriate crayons
The first step to being able to create this fascinating piece of art is to go out there and purchases some crayons. This can be done in a number of ways, but the best way to go about this is to practically go out yourself and buy the crayons after you have held them in your hands.
This way you will be able to better judge the quality of the crayons that you are going to be using for your artwork and you will be certain not to get the poor kind. -

Set up everything
The next thing you need to do is to set up all your items. You need to place your canvas in a standing position and then you need to attach your crayons as you want on the canvas. You can adjust heights and distances of the crayons on the canvas based on your preference, since however you do end up placing them, is going to be the pattern that they melt in.
Be extra careful while doing this, and try and make sure that all the crayons are attached carefully. -

Melt away
Now the last piece of the puzzle is for you to go on and melt the crayons. You can do this by simply heating each crayon with the help of a hair dryer. However, using a hair dryer will allow you to control the flow of the melted crayon and the rate at which you want to melt it at.
There are other ways to melt the crayons as well, but using a hair dryer not only seems like the smartest way, but it also tends to produce the best results.
