Mud pie pudding is one of the most favourite foods for kids. It can be served as dessert in parties or any other occasion and the best part is that it is not very difficult to make. All you need is around half an hour time and few ingredients.
Ingredients
- Pie crust - 1 cup
- Chocolate pudding - 2 packs
- Whipped topping such as Cool Whip - 2 cups
- Oreo cookies - 10 pieces
Instructions
- First of all, you have to prepare the chocolate pudding.
- Just follow the instruction given on the pack of chocolate pudding.
- You can make the pudding solid or soft.
- Now crush the Oreos.
- Take a bag and put them in it.
- After that, squish them with your hands until they turn into crumbs.
- It is extremely important for you to crush them well so that there is no large piece left.
- Now, you have to make a layer of ingredients to form the pie crust.
- Start by making layer of chocolate pudding on the bottom.
- Then, place some crush cookies right on the top of the chocolate pudding layer.
- After that, add a layer of whipped cream and make another layer of chocolate pudding on it.
- You can use the remaining Oreos to decorate the pudding.
- Cover the pie and place it in the refrigerator for at least one night to chill.
- It will help you in setting the ingredients firmly.
- Now, when you cut the pie, everything will stay at its place.
- Contrarily, if you cut it without refrigerating it, you will not be able to keep up the shape of pie.
