How to Make No Sew Fleece Blankets

Things Required:
– 2 fleece pieces of approximately 2 yards each or two fleece blankets
– Sewing pins
– Scissors
– Inches tape

First of all, you should place both pieces of fleece on a flat surface like a wooden desk or table.
Make sure you place one on the top of other fleece piece with its right side facing outwards.
This is the perfect position to place these two pieces of fleece. -

After placing fleece pieces in right position, you should pin these pieces together by using a sewing pin. Insert pin by leaving at least 4 inches space from the outer edges of fleece pieces.

Now you need to cut the whip-stitched edges of the fleece pieces. A sharp fabric scissor is required to cut the pieces in a perfect manner. Otherwise, the edges will not give a tidy or clean look and there will be many un-cut threads visible on them.

You should cut long strips from the corners of fleece pieces. Make sure you cut both layers of fleece fabric with a 4-inch square size from each side.

After that, you should cut 4-inch long strips from the perimetre of the fleece blanket. The distance between the cuts should not be more than one inch. Take measurement with an inch tape and mark the areas carefully before cutting the fabric.

Now you need to tie the strips in a way that top one gets tied with the bottom strip of fleece pieces, which will make it appear in the shape of a fringed edge.

You should repeat this process with all sides of the fleece pieces in order to complete your no-sew fleece blanket. Make sure you have tied up all strips in an appropriate manner.
