Instructions
-
1
Visit a local grocery store in order to purchase the organic vegetable and fruit ingredients you will require for this recipe. For purchasing organic dry ingredients, you will need to visit a Health Food Store.
-
2
Clear a fairly large working area. Turn on the oven and preheat it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
3
Add all the liquid ingredients and the peanut butter to a medium mixing bowl and thoroughly stir the contents until a uniform mixture is obtained.
-
4
Add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix them together. Carefully pour the mixture from the previous step into the mixture of dry ingredients; slowly stirring the entire time. Continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.
-
5
Roll flat the organic dog treat dough from the previous step on a flat wooden surface. Use a rolling pin if you have to. Make sure that the thickness of the final sheet of dough is not more than ½-inch.
-
6
Spread an ungreased cookie sheet on a flat surface. With a dog-themed cookie cutter, cut the dough into as many organic dog treats as possible and carefully place them on the cookie sheet.
-
7
Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Turn off the oven after the specified time. However, do not take the organic dog treats out of the oven. Instead, you should let them sit in the oven for about an hour so that the treats can harden and eventually become crispy.
-
8
Finally, remove the dog treats from the oven. If you plan to store the organic dog treats for use in future, make use of an air tight container.
