Things you will need to make Paper Leaf:
– Good quality sheet of paper, in various colors
– Scissor
Instructions
-
1
Take a good quality sheet of paper and cut it into perfect square.
-
2
Now, gently fold the square piece of paper along the diagonal in order to give it a perfect triangle shape.
Note: Diagonal is your straight line that goes from one corner to another corner of the square (but not an edge). -
3
Here comes the tricky part of this whole project where you have to lift the left corner of the recently formed triangle and join it at the top tip of it. Now, flatten it properly before going ahead.
-
4
Fold the paper diagonally in half along the line shown in the picture on your left hand side.
-
5
Once again, fold it half in order to form the midrib of the leaf.
-
6
Now, make as many creases as you want, keeping the desired number of leaf veins you want on your paper leaf. Unfold the paper gently.
-
7
Fold the creased paper into half, making the midrib of the paper leaf more prominent.
-
8
Create a small diagonal fold, starting right from the bottom of the diagonally folded paper.
-
9
Hold the center of the paper fold and gently unfold its flaps. You will get the end product in the form of the structure on your right hand side.
-
10
Fold up the right and left pointed edges of paper inwards to give it a perfect leaf shape.
-

Well done you have successfully completed the paper leaf project. Repeat the above steps to make paper leaves of various colors, using multi-colored sheets of paper.
