Most of the parents complain that kids do not eat hygienic food prepared at home rather they prefer to eat insanitary and unhealthy things packed in glittering wrappers. Well, I don’t blame them as they are too young to find out what is good or bad for them so it’s you who needs to plan something for them.
Ingredients
- Butter (room temp): ½ cup
- Peanut butter: 1 cup
- Powdered sugar: 2¾ cups
- Bag semisweet chocolate morsels: 1 (12 ounce)
- Bag milk chocolate chips: 1 (12 ounce)
- Paraffin wax block (shredded or shaved): ⅛
- Water
- Wax paper
Instructions
- Put butter and peanut butter in a bowl and whisk it until it becomes a smooth mixture.
- Once it is properly blended, add the powdered sugar and keep mixing. Be careful while doing this as the mixture can turn dry and hard. Make sure it is not too sticky or hard as you won’t be able give them the proper shape in both cases.
- Transform the dough into balls and then put in a refrigerator by placing them on wax paper.
- Pour a little bit water into a pot and add chocolate to melt. When it becomes a smooth mixture, drop butter balls one by one and scoop them out.
- Place them on a paper and keep them in the refrigerator until they become hard. You are all set to offer peanut butter candy balls to your kids.
