How to Make Scarlet O’Hara Cocktail
Scarlet O’Hara is the famous name of the main female protagonist of the famed novel and film ‘Gone with the Wind’. Scarlet was a southern belle if there ever was one, inspiration that can be found in the drink’s base ingredient – Southern Comfort. This delicious liqueur makes for a wonderful mixed drink to be enjoyed on a warm summer day.
Scarlet O’Hara is a delectable and sweet drink, and is usually taken after dinner. There are various recipes available for making this beverage, but the one that is believed to be the best, is a mixture of Southern Comfort, lime and cranberry juice.

Ingredients
– Southern Comfort (2 oz)
– Cranberry juice
– lime juice and lime wedge for garnish
– Ice

Strain it
Mix lime juice, cranberry juice and southern comfort into a shaker, along with ice. The ice should be finely crushed. The longer you will move the shaker, more chilled will be your drink. Continuously strain it into a Collins glass or a sour. You can use grenadine, in case you do not have cranberry juice. Besides, peach liqueur can also be used instead of Southern Comfort.

Pour the Southern Comfort into the glass and squeeze a bit of lime juice into the liquor. Lime makes the drink exotic. -

Pour cranberry juice into the glass until it is almost filled and stir the ingredients well. -
