Before you have a haircut make sure the length of your hair is long at least till your ears, then you will be able to acquire an original emo hairstyle.

From the backside, divide the hair diagonally in to two sections, as shown in the image and clip the hair to assemble them in one place, repeat the procedure on the other side as well.

Now with a good quality professional hair cutting scissors, follow the procedure of the shear work home cutting as shown in the image. Make sure you start the cut from the nape and reach at the top of the section line.

Now take a clipper which contains a blending guard, shave the entire area at the nape to make clear defined lines.

To make a perfect lined shape you can take help from a comb as shown in the image.

When you complete your cutting from the back side come towards the front side.

Make a side section and drop the swept bangs on the desired side, left or right depending upon your choice.

Form the front of the diagonal back clip the hair so that you can continue the cutting procedure.

Comb the hair, take few strands and twist them. With the help of a razor or a sharp scissor, give them a surface cut. This style of cutting will give your emo look a loose organic look. Repeat this procedure for the front hairs.

Now open the clipped hair and comb them properly, after that cut them diagonally to give a neat look.

If you wish to apply gel or mousse you can, or brush them properly for a complete ready emo look.
