There are a lot of activities that the kids enjoy in the winter, but building a snowman with freshly fallen snow remains at the top of the list. Snowmen are simply awesome and they look really nice in a red hat and scarf. But did you ever know that besides enjoying the snowman in your garden during the winter months, you can also make an infinite number of its edible versions?
Ingredients
  • Package mini powdered sugar doughnuts: 1
  • Package miscellaneous colored gel candies: 1
  • Package fruit roll-ups or sour patch straws: 1
  • Black icing or black food coloring
  • Twizzler string
  • Wooden skewers
  • Clear plastic baggies
  • Ribbon
Instructions
  1. Take a wooden skewer and slide three mini powdered sugar donuts onto it.
  2. Take an orange coloured candy and place it in the hole of the top donut. This will make the nose of your snowman donut.
  3. Now cut a green candy into half and place each part in the holes of the two bottom donuts. These green candies will make the buttons of the snowman.
  4. Take a Twizzler string and tie it between the top two donuts. This will make the neck scarf of your snowman.
  5. To complete the face of the snowman donut pops, apply black food colouring or black icing on the top donut in the shape of eyes and a smiley face, using toothpick.
  6. Repeat with the remaining donuts to make enough snowman pops for the party.
  7. These lovely snowman faces will be the cutest things on the desert table that will make your kid light-up.
