How to Make Soda Pop Cupcakes

Soda pop cupcakes have that unique flavour and moisture which you will not find in any other variety of cupcakes.  A common party delight, the soda pop cupcake is easy to prepare and can be served with a variety of toppings and flavours, root beer, orange crush and grape flavour being the most common.

A large variety of these cupcakes are available in boxed form in the markets, but the best bet is to prepare them at home.

Yield: 18-36 cupcakes
Utensils: Baking dish, foil, baking sheet, mixing bowl, measuring cups, spoon and serving plates.

Ingredients:
Butter: 1 cup
Sugar: 2 cups
Eggs: 4
Cake flour: 4 cups
Vanilla: 1 tsp
Baking soda: ½ tsp
Salt: ½ tsp
Baking powder: ½ tsp
Grape pop: 1¾ cups
Neon Food colouring pack

Instructions

    Take a medium bowl, add butter and sugar in it and beat thoroughly until they are well blended and there are no non-uniformities in the mixture. Now take a separate bowl, put your eggs into that and beat them. Slowly add your eggs into the butter and sugar solution, ensuring that the mixing continues all the while. One teaspoon of vanilla is then added to the mixture.

    Take a small bowl, and sift the baking soda, salt and baking powder so that they are mixed properly. The grape soda is then poured into the mix and purple colour is used from the Neon Food colouring pack.

    Now add the add the two mixtures and you will have your batter. Take mini cupcake liners and pour your batter into then nearly 3/4th of the way. Now place the filled liners in the baking tray and put them in an oven, in which the temperature is set at about 350 degree Fahrenheit. The whole process will take about 22-25 minutes.

    Once cooked, the cupcakes are allowed to cool, before they can be iced with butter cream, coloured sugar and other type of coverings.

    The unique flavoured cupcakes are now ready to serve with your favourite liquor.
