Sunny side up eggs may seems to be very simple to make, but in reality, it’s a bit tricky and a little bit of carelessness can spoil it all. The key to make these eggs is to fry the bottom side while keeping the yolk runny at the top.
Ingredients
- Butter 15-30g
- Eggs 2
- Salt
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Place the frying pan on the stove and light it on a medium flame.
- Put 1½ spoon of butter on it and wait until it melts.
- Gently crack an egg and pour it in the middle of the pan but make sure not to break the yolk.
- To avoid deshaping the eggs you can use the cookie cutter of an oval shape.
- Now you probably need to wait around 2 minutes so that egg white turns opaque.
- In order to make sure the egg is cooked properly you can also cover the pan.
- Gently slip the flat edged wood spoon around the edges of the egg to make sure it is not stuck with the pan.
- Tilt the pan carefully, slipping the egg into the plate. Avoid breaking the yolk.
- Your Sunny Side Eggs are ready to be served, season them with salt and black pepper.
