Instructions
-
1

The first step is to take a bowl and pour one cup of butter in it. Then add 1-1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar to it and mix them to get a yellowish paste. -
2
Add vanilla extract to the paste
Once you get a yellowish paste, add one teaspoon of vanilla to it and then beat the newly formed combination for a few seconds. -
3
Prepare the flour mixture
Now, it is time to mix a few ingredients with flour in a new bowl. You can either split this process into two steps or finish it in one go. The latter idea is a better one, as it will help you save some precious time.
Pour 2-1/4 cups flour into the bowl and add kosher salt to it. Mix it with hands and then pass through a sieve over the first mixture of butter and other ingredients. -
4
Mix the dry and wet ingredients
It is time to combine the flour mixture to the butter paste. Once that is done, you can spread over the pecans. -
5
Wrap the newly formed mixture with a plastic cover
Once everything is done, put over a plastic cover on the mixture and then allow it to cool down in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. -
6
Shape the dough into small cookies and bake at 200 degrees Celsius
After shaping the mixture into cookies, bake it for about 12 minutes into the oven and wait for them to cool down. Once the temperature is normal, your delicious tea cake is ready to be served.
