Instructions

1
Mix the ground coffee with beaten egg
Until the coffee grounds are well coated, mix the ground coffee with a beaten egg in a small bowl. You need to stir the eggshell properly before adding cold water. Before you start the mixing process, you should put 8 cups of water to boil in a large pan. -
2
Add the coffee mixture in the boiling water
Once the water reaches the boiling level, you should carefully add the coffee mixture to the water and stir is nicely for at least four minutes. You may stop stirring once the foam subsides. Now you can remove the pan from heat and cover it thoroughly with a plate or any substance. -
3
Allow the coffee grounds to settle
You should now leave the pan on its own for about seven to eight minutes, allowing the coffee grounds and the eggshell to settle at the bottom of the pot. -
4
Strain the coffee
Through a wire or a cloth strainer, strain the coffee into cups or the serving carafe. If you wish to, you can add milk or sugar according to your own taste and preference. However, there are many people who have the Swedish coffee in its original form without adding milk or sugar. -
5
Serve the Swedish coffee
Your Swedish coffee is now ready to be served. If there are guests at home, you may serve the Swedish coffee in a nice tray to make it more presentable. It is recommended that you place milk and sugar separately. If someone wants milk to be added, he or she can do that in such a scenario.
