Cut a piece of cardboard to the dimensions of the frame in such a manner that it fits inside the frame easily. Make sure not to leave any gaps on the sides of the frame and the cardboard should almost tightly fit in it. Enough room should be left for the tinfoil to wrap around the frame.

Take the tinfoil and wrap it tightly around one side of the frame. Be very careful not to leave any crinkles while wrapping the foil, as such creases will be very visible when observers look the picture frame from a close distance. You can use tape or glue to affix the tinfoil on the back of the cardboard you cut in Step 2.

Now you have to apply some adhesive to the picture. You can use glue or wet-mount thoroughly on the back side of the picture if you desire a clean-cut look. Clear tape can be used on the front side to stick the photograph to the foil.

  • 5

Attach the picture to the face of the cardboard which is wrapped with tinfoil, on the one having visible tape on it. Press the picture to affix it firmly to the cardboard.
