How to Make Turkey Calls
Making Turkey calls is fun; the process does not cost anything and children particularly find it a great source of entertainment. The call is also used as a way to call Turkeys near the trap if you are out in the wild hunting wild Turkeys, although there is no guarantee of success in the process. It is nevertheless a great and cheap source of amusement for children if they know how to make a Turkey call. The entire technique depends on a piece of paper and your hands, and then how loudly you create the voice through your hands and the piece of paper.

Piece of Paper
First thing you need is a piece of paper. The paper should not be very thick, it should be plain and simple. Cut the paper into a part of four inches long and two or one and half inch wide. The paper should not be wider or longer. Although there is not certified yardstick about measurement of the paper, it is the basic of the technique. -

Hands Positioning
Other tool of the technique behind making a Turkey call is your own hands. The effectiveness and success of the technique or call itself depends on the placement of your both hands. A general rule is to join both hands together straight, with palms touching other. Thumbs should be up straight and should also be touching each other. -

Placement of Paper
Once you have positioned your both hands in the way that both palms and thumbs touch each other, put the piece of the cut paper through your thumb into the palms. The paper's top should be stuck in between the two thumbs and bottom in between the palms. If you are unsure of securing the piece of paper yourself, get someone else help you in this. -

Making Call
After you have secured the piece of paper in your hands, put your mouth through the gap between your thumbs and blow the air in it. When you do this, the paper will make different sort of noises, and the process of making a Turkey call has just begun. Now the more you practice, the more perfection you will achieve, and be able to impress your friends.
