How to Make Vegetarian Chili in Crock Pot

Vegetarian chilli in crock pot is not very difficult to make. It is quite similar to cook a batch of vegetables on stovetop. However, you will need a little bit more liquid to cook vegetarian chilli. It is one of the best recipes to make chilli and is very healthy as it contains very low amount of fat and high fibre plus protein. Ingredients:

– 2 tbsp oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes
– 1 tsp oregano
– 1 28 ounce can tomatoes
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp chilli powder
– 1/3 tsp cumin
– 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
– 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
– 2 cans black beans, drained
– 2 cans red kidney beans, drained

    First of all, you have to take the onion, red pepper flakes and garlic. Sautee all the ingredients for around three to five minute or until the onion become softer.

    Now, place the mixture into a large bowl and add the chilli powder into it. Mix it well and then add cumin into it. Mix it again.

    Put the mixture on the medium heat flame on the stove and cook it for around two minutes.

    You will have to place the onions and the other ingredients in the crock pot. Stir all the ingredients to blend them well.

    Cook for around six to eight hours.
