Peach Ice Cream Topping nicely complements any ice cream flavour, especially peach ice-cream. With fresh and finely ripped peaches in season, try this Warm Peach Ice Cream Topping recipe at home to add creamy texture to your ice creams. For the off season, you can take advantage of the preserved canned peaches or the frozen ones.
Ingredients
  • Large ripe peaches - 3
  • Packed light brown sugar - ¼ cup
  • White sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract - ⅛ teaspoon
  • Small pinch ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Place the three large well ripped peaches in a small colander or medium bowl and rinse them under tap’s running water.
  2. Drain the rinsed peaches well and then remove their stems.
  3. Place the peach on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to peel them properly.
  4. Cut the three peaches into halved and remove their stones (seeds).
  5. Now cut the peaches into about 1-inch cubes and place in the bowl of an electric or hand blender.
  6. Top the peach slices with ¼ cup of packed light brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of white sugar and ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract.
  7. Sprinkle small pinch of ground cinnamon and salt over the top and seal the properly.
  8. Turn on the blender at medium range and blend the ingredients until it forms thick and rich peach puree.
  9. Pour the peach puree into a large bowl, seal well and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
  10. Once chilled well and thicken, remove the Peach Ice Cream Topping from refrigerator and stir to mix well.
  11. Your Peach Ice Cream Topping is ready; serve over Raspberry Ice Cream, Caramel Ice Cream, Yogurt Almond Ice Cream or any other ice cream that you like.
