How to Make Your Own Sloppy Joe Spice Mix

It is an amazingly tasty mix of ground beef, spices and flavoursome seasonings. You can add in ketchup, vinegar, sugar and vegetable slices as well. The biggest advantage of a homemade Sloppy Joe Spice Mix is that you can make it in a large quantity and can store up to six months. Cut a bun into half, place the sloppy Joe spice mix in-between, serve immediately and impress your loved ones. However, make sure to store it in cool and dry place, like refrigerator. Ingredients:
Cooking oil / vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
Lean ground beef: 1 lb
Onion powder: 2 tablespoons
Paprika: 2 tablespoons
Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Marjoram, dried: 1 teaspoon
Dry mustard: 1 teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: ½ teaspoon
Celery seed: ¼ teaspoon
Ketchup: 1 cup
Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

    Pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil or other cooking oil into a skillet and place on stove’s medium-low heat until warm well.

    Now add in 1 lb. lean ground beef and stir fry for few minutes until no more red or pinkish.

    To the beef with 2 tablespoons of onion powder, 2 tablespoons of paprika and 1 tablespoon of garlic powder.

    Vigorously stir fry for few seconds until the mixture is lightly brown and then add in 1 tablespoon of chilli powder and 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram.

    Stir in 1 teaspoon of dry mustard, 1 teaspoon of salt, half teaspoon of ground black pepper and ¼ teaspoon of celery seed.

    Continue stir frying for a few seconds and drain the beef mixture, using a colander or drainer.

    Place the skillet back on the stove and add in one cup of ketchup and one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
