How to Make Your Windows 8 Computer Logon Automatically

Make sure that your computer or laptop is on and that Windows 8 has fully loaded. First you will have to open the Run dialog box that can be done by pressing Windows + R key altogether.

In the Open field type netplwiz and then click the OK button. Make sure that you put this in as it is written without any spelling mistakes.

A new window will appear on your screen with the title User Account. This window will display the list of users on the computer.

From the list find your user account and select it. A checkbox saying “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” will be viewed on the top of the window, uncheck it.

Hit the Apply button.

Another small window will appear on your screen, titled Automatically Sign in. You will have to enter your user id and type your password and then again retype it for confirmation.

Click Ok in the end.

In order to exit from the User Account window click Ok again.
