How to Make a Quick Egg Frittata

Omelettes are tasty, palatable, can be prepared in numerous ways, and are probably the simplest and the most time effective cuisines.  Their flavour and style of preparation varies from region to region and there can be so many variations and flavours that can be added to them

One of the most delicious omelette recipes is the Frittata, which is the Italian name for omelette. It takes a bit more time compared to a conventional omelette recipe, but the taste simply takes you into another world.

Utensils: Spoons, Measuring Spoons, Pan, Measuring cups, Chopper, Bowls, Knife

Ingredients:
Eggs: 8
Heavy cream: 1/2 cup
Sliced potatoes (optional)
Sliced leek (optional)
Butter
Cheese
Parsley
Salt and Pepper: To taste

Instructions

    Heat oil or butter in a pan

    Heat some oil or butter in a pan. There is no need to use extra quantity as you just have to coat the base of the pan so that the ingredients don’t stick to it.

    Slice leeks and cook

    Now slice the leeks with a sharp knife and add them to the pan. Cook them on low heat for 10 minutes as they will take some time to get tender. Make sure that they don’t burn from the edges.

    Add chopped potatoes to the pan

    Chop potatoes in a small bowl and add them to the pan. They need to be cooked for at least five minutes on medium heat, so that they get golden brown.

    Beat cream in a bowl

    While the potatoes get cooked, prepare the remaining ingredients. For that, you need to beat heavy cream into one small bowl.

    Add eggs to the cream

    Now add eggs to the cream and beat them together for a couple of minutes to get a yellowish texture. You can sprinkle some salt and pepper before beating the mixture.

    Add cheese to the mixture

    You can now add cheese to the cream mixture. Even if you are on a diet, you should definitely use cheese in this recipe.

    Mix potatoes and leeks to the cream

    When the potatoes get cooked, remove them from heat and mix with the creamy mixture.

    Cook like a normal omelette

    It is time to cook the omelette now. You can do it just like a normal omelette recipe, but make sure that you flip it after some time to get the heat distributed evenly.
