Building a WordPress blog that can generate massive traffic is not the something beyond your control. WordPress comes equipped with several built-in SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You have htaccess, which allows you to make static URLs, which are a good way to optimize a page for search engines. You also have pinging and blogrolling that help you to make your blog search engine friendly.

    - Use target keywords while writing posts: While you prepare a post, make sure you use keywords that your target audience may use on Google search.

    - Match title with post content: You should pick a title that is reflected in your content as well. Your post title is the line that appears on search results (blog line on the top). So, title should be keyword rich.

    - Use good Meta tags: Meta tags describe what your post/page is about. These tags include Meta description, Meta keywords that you have write in programming. This information appears below your blog title on Google search results.
