How to Pack for a Bus Trip
Going a trip can be a lot of fun especially if you decide to go on a bus with your friends or family. The best part of sitting on a bus is that you do not have to worry about doing the driving and you can sit comfortably and just watch the view outside of the window. Most modern buses are quite comfortable and have a decent amount of space on them. If you want to pack for a bus trip then always remember that you can put a small bag in the overhead compartment and also in the under part of the bus.

1
Organise things:
Before packing for a bus trip you should first organise your things in order of importance and accessibility. Remember that you cannot access your things if they are sitting in the bottom section of the bus. You will only be able to get your things that are in the overhead compartment of the bus. So pack accordingly and keep your important items that you will need during the trip in the small bag. Your larger items that you will not need during the trip can easily be put in a larger suitcase or bag for the lower storage area of the bus. -
2
Buy quality suitcase:
Invest in a good quality suitcase which is not too large and easy to handle or carry. Also, try to get a decent bag which will easily fit on the overhead compartment in the bus. It is important to remember that your suitcase should be sturdy as luggage is not treated nicely on most buses. -
3
Pack suitcase:
Start packing your suitcase with all of the items that you will not need during the actual bus trip. However, do make sure that you pack all of your important belongings that you organised earlier. Undergarments, shoes, socks, shirts, pants, skirts, dresses and other clothing items can easily fit inside the suitcase. -
4
Seal fluids:
Be sure to put all of the items that are in liquid form like cologne, perfume, shampoo, lotions and other toiletry items in plastic bags to avoid leakage during your trip. Make sure to pack all of these items between different layers of clothing to avoid them from breaking or getting crushed. -
5
Pack bag:
Once you have packed your suitcase you can easily put your important items in a small bag that can easily be stored in the overhead compartment on the bus. Be sure to pack those items which you may want to use during the actual bus trip as you can easily take your bag out and pull whatever you need out.
