How to Paint Ladybugs on Your Nails
Are you tired of the plain old nail polish and are sure its time you tried something new?
Do you think those polka dots which the usual girls wear is something that you don’t want to do. Well, making a ladybug on your nails is something extremely unique and not many people think about doing it.
You just have to make sure you have a steady hand while you are applying the nail paint and you are good to go.

You need to start off by giving the perfect shape to your nails. First, make sure that you have nails long enough to support such art. Sometimes a few nail biters wouldn’t allow their nails to grow. However, if you want to paint a ladybug on your nails, you definitely need to grow them a little. In order to give them the perfect shape, use nail files. This tool will help you give a curved shape to your nails as the pointy ones wouldn’t look like the cute little ladybugs.

Now, you need to paint your nails just like the way a normal ladybug looks.
What is that colour?
Either it’s red or green; it’s totally up to you. Mostly, girls would use the red colour as it is quite attractive. However, green wouldn’t look bad either. Paint all your nails with the same colour to maintain consistency. -

Wait for your nails to dry down.

Use a black coloured nail polish in order to give a border to the tip of your nails.

Grab hold of a toothpick and dip it inside the black nail polish. Use it to draw a line right in the centre of all the nails.

Once you have drawn the line, wait for your nails to dry off once again.

Now it is totally up to you whether you want the dots on the side of the ladybug to be black or white. If you want them to be white, make sure that you dip another toothpick into the white nail paint and draw dots on both sides of the line you had drawn earlier. In case you want it to be black, use the same toothpick which you had used to draw the line.

In order to make the eyes of the ladybug, dip another toothpick into any light coloured nail paint and draw the two eyes as per your liking.
