How to Plan a Girls Weekend Staycation
Friends are a very special part of our lives. They are there in moments of joy, sadness, happiness, celebration and what not. The fun times spent with them cannot be traded for anything. A weekend with your girls is the best way to have loads of fun and make more memories.
It should be carefully planned to make the most out of it. From a shopping spree to dress up games, there is just so much you can do. Make sure to invite your good friends only because you can’t have the same fun with mere acquaintances.

The first step is to make a list of the people you want to invite. Think about what they like, dislike and what are their interests. Activities should be planned that engage the maximum number of people but try to think different. The staycation needs to be much more fun than a simple sleepover. Think about activities that you have wanted to do together but never got a chance or places in town that may be fun to visit together. Also make sure to inform your parents or spouse that you are on vacation and need some time off.

A perfect opportunity to relax is to go to a spa, but why not create it in your own home. Some possibilities are to have a yoga class conducted in your house or hire a masseuse to give massages to your guests’. You could ask other people in your house not to disturb you at this time. If you people are interested in manicure, pedicures and facials then plan a salon visit together. Such activities are less costly then going to another city or country to have fun.

Have a girl’s day out. You could go to any cultural festival or fun fair arranged in town. Another idea is to go to art galleries or museums if you have an eye for history and art. There are also two day cooking courses or wine tasting festivals, you and your friends could enroll yourself in one of these too.

You could pick a special theme for a night. Swap clothes with each other and do make up. Arrange a competition where you have to dress each other and the best dressed pair wins. Another idea is to divide into two groups and cook for each other. It will surely be a fun night.
