    Pick the best time to visit Hilton Head

    The weather in Hilton Head remains outstanding throughout the year, but the seasons of spring and fall offer exceptionally pleasant weather, and are considered the best seasons to play golf. During summertime, it gets hot in Hilton Head, and most tourists prefer to spend their time at the beach, instead of playing golf in the heat. However, if you are coming from an exceptionally hot region, coping with the weather in Hilton Head should not be too much of a problem for you.

There are numerous golf courses on the island; apart from a number of other factors, which depend on personal preferences, you should choose a golf course which is close to where you are staying. The golf courses in the middle of the island are a little expensive, but they are relatively better than the rest. Some of the most amazing golf courses in Hilton Head are The Ocean and Sea March Courses at Sea Pines, the Golden Bear course, and Harbor Town, which also organizes a PGA tournament each year. Harbor Town offers some of the best views of Hilton Head; however, it is also quite expensive.

    Cheaper golf courses

    If your budget is a little tight, it is recommended that you visit the golf courses that are located just off the island. You will have to drive for just a few minutes from the bridge to the island. These courses will cost you less, without forcing you to compromise on the quality of the courses. Some of these golf courses are Hilton Head National, Island West, and Old South.
