How to Play Cards With Rolling Dice
It may sound surprising but playing a card game such as poker is possible with rolling dice. This technique of playing poker works best when you do not have a deck of cards at your disposal. However, you will need to have at least 5 dice in order to play poker with rolling dice. You can either use specialised poker dice or regular playing dice. Once you learn the tricks of the trade, playing poker with rolling dice may seem more enticing to you than doing the same with a deck of playing cards.

Visit a hobby store and purchase five poker dice. Face cards are imprinted on these dice all the way down to the ‘9’ card in a deck of playing cards. If for some reason you can not arrange poker dice, you can use regular dice. When playing poker with regular dice, 6 on the dice will denote Ace, 5 would denote King, 4 would denote Queen, 3 would denote Jack, 2 on the dice would denote the ‘10’ card and 1 on the dice would denote the ‘9’ card.

Place all five dice, poker or regular, in a cup. Shake the cup in your hands and roll the dice on flat surface where all players can see the dice. The aim is to get the highest hand just like in a game of poker played with a deck of cards.

Referring to the value being displayed on each dice, value each hand as 5 of a kind, 4 of a kind, full house straight, 3 of a kind, 2 of a kind and finally 1 pair which is the lowest score that a player can get in this case.

Each player can roll the dice three times to get the highest hand. You have to option to keep some or all of the dice and roll rest of the dice once again. Decide what you want to do and reroll the dice as before if necessary.

Try to get a full house. You can give it a third and final try. Here your turn ends and the turn passes on to the next player.
