Public pools are overly crowded during the summer season and you have to be very careful about not wasting anyone’s time and enjoying yours. Etiquettes depict a person’s manners and when it comes to a public place; it is of utmost importance that you behave yourself. Swimming is one of those sports that are not only physically beneficial but also a lot of fun. Nevertheless, in order to swim, many have to use public pools since private ones are hard to come by.     Wear a proper swimsuit

    A proper swimsuit is undoubtedly the most important thing while swimming. Most swimming pools have strict rules regarding swimwear in order for entry. For instance, you must buy a bathing suit that you can wear in public. Do not forget to pack a towel and water proof diapers if you plan to take your kids to the swimming pool.

    Even though the pool water is chlorinated, it is of utmost importance that you take a shower before entering the pool. You must rub your body properly while taking a shower so all the dirt etc is taken care of.

    If the lifeguard of the public pool is giving tips and instructions, you must listen to them carefully and follow them. Generally, life guards instruct people to stay out of the deep area if they cannot swim well and hold a tube or board to float over the water.
