How to Practice Kabbalah Meditation

Kabbalah meditation is an historical tradition that has never been so popular as other meditation practices. However, recently a number of celebrities have entered this form of meditation and since then Kabbalah has gained popularity all over the world. Kabbalah centres on the belief that God is unknowable by thought and yet is tangible in all things. The meditation is one of the most effective meditations targeting release of tension, depression and stress from the body and make the person feel relax. As in case of other meditation, it requires proper focus.

    First of all you should know the meanings and historical knowledge of the tradition, its meaning and the purpose it is done for.  Know about the tradition can help you immerse into its practice thoroughly and you can achieve true essence of it. For example, Kabbalah attempts to experience divinity of God through spiritual means, since it is based on the belief that God is tangible in all things, although it remains unknowable in the thought.

    Choose a proper time for the meditation. For example, do the meditation when you are free of all other business so that you are not interrupted in between. Also, almost all meditations are recommended to be done in the morning and this is also the best time for Kabbalah meditation. You can do it after the morning prayers and then go on to recite verses associated with the meditation.

    It is important that you also practice three blessings that are associated with the mediation. They are as much necessary as the meditation itself. You can learn these blessings, which are verses, online and in the beginning can read them by looking at them and then gradually memorising them. The blessings nevertheless are integral part of the meditation.

    If you are not confident or not sure how to start with Kabbalah mediation, find a centre or an organization near your place to receive an expert help. There are many Kabbalah teachers and instructors in the United States and other countries where you can find expert help and start practising the meditation.

    Try to learn all the meditation components i.e. blessings by heart and memorize them. This will help you to concentrate on the meditation more as compared to reading them by looking somewhere. This can take away your focus from the mediation.
